Permanently Enhance Your Smile at Simply Beautiful Smiles

If you have missing or failing teeth and yearn for a healthy, beautiful smile, dental implants could be the answer. They are a strong, permanent solution that look and feel just like your natural teeth. Implants never decay, so you won’t have to worry about getting implant cavities filled. Gum disease also rarely occurs around dental implants. Are you curious about dental implants from Simply Beautiful Smiles? Visit one of our 25+ locations in Central and Southern New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, or Northern Delaware. Our dentists would be happy to help you examine the benefits of implants in greater detail.

      Dental Implants

Dental Implant Specialists Offering Thorough Evaluations

Dental implants act just like natural teeth, so you can eat whatever you please and speak, sing, and chew normally. The American Dental Association endorses two types of dental implants: endosteal and subperiosteal dental implants. Our dental experts at Simply Beautiful Smiles offer both as part of our restorative dentistry services, as well as implant-supported bridges and dentures. Whether you’re interested in mini dental implants or full-mouth dental implants, we would be happy to recommend the best option for you during your one-on-one consultation.

This is the most common type of dental implant in which a post is surgically placed directly into the jawbone and connected to the implant. An artificial tooth is then individually attached to the post. To be considered a candidate for endosteal implants, you must be in good general health with substantial jawbone and healthy gum tissue to support the implants.

For most patients, endosteal dental implants require two surgical procedures. The first is necessary to place the implants within your jawbone. Once this is done, we’ll give your implants time to bond with your jawbone during the process known as osseointegration. During this time, you may wear temporary dentures. The second surgery is when we’ll attach small posts and anchor your artificial teeth. The entire time required for a dental implants procedure may take up to eight months for optimal success. Our practitioners utilize sedation dentistry to keep patients calm and comfortable during all procedures.

Subperiosteal dental implants are commonly used for people who have a shallow jawbone and are not a candidate for a bone grafting procedure. These implants consist of a metal frame that is fitted onto the jawbone just below the gum tissue. Posts are then attached to the frame, and artificial teeth are then mounted to the posts. Subperiosteal implants also require two surgical procedures for most patients. However, depending on your oral health and the number of and position of teeth involved, we may be able to place dental implants in a single visit.

What Are the Benefits of Dental Implants Over Alternatives?

Dental implants are changing the way people live because they feel, look, and function like natural teeth. They’re preferred over many of the alternatives because they’re long-lasting and discreet. You won’t have to worry about denture slippage or upkeep, nor will you have to change your diet. Unlike dentures or dental bridges, implants are meant to last a lifetime with no extra maintenance required. Don’t let the cost of dental implants deter you. Even if dental implants aren’t covered by your insurance, Simply Beautiful Smiles offers financing options and an affordable dental care plan. Talk to us today!
