Dr. Biron received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Medical Doctor (MD) diplomas from the University of Pennsylvania in a highly selective 6-year long curriculum and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

He successfully passed the board-certification and recertification examinations of both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Society Of Anesthesiology. He is also a fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

During and after medical school, Dr. Biron passed all three national medical board examinations of the United States Medical Licensing Examinations allowing him to be nationally licensed to practice medicine and perform maxillofacial surgery and administer anesthesia.

Dr. Biron holds unrestricted anesthesia licenses in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. During his training and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, he received in depth and dedicated anesthesia training on a wide assortment of patients and surgical procedures. He maintains his office-based anesthesia certification through society sponsored office-inspection and fulfills the requirements to hold state anesthesia licensing. Each year, he maintains membership and attends educational meetings provided by the New Jersey Dental Society of Anesthesiology and updated anesthesia-related lectures at the annual meeting of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. In addition, he continues to further his knowledgebase by attending other multidisciplinary lectures pertaining to dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.
